~What a perfect POND addition to a slope in a backyard ! (pics)
« on: October 14, 2007, 09:04:04 AM »
Here is a pond and stream I finished for a client/friend in a brand new housing subdivision.  All she had was grass and a tree in the backyard.  Once I noticed the small grade slope to the corner, I knew I could use it to work a semi-twisting stream into !  This pond has a 1950gph heavy debris handling submersible pump- bio filter, flow valve control- and lights.  3koi and 1 large goldfish call this 620gal pond home.  I hear Ovaline never gets anything done in the house anymore because she's always on the back patio relaxing by the pond ;)  I need some pics from this month to see how all the new plantings are doing !  ( I left that part up to her )

Ah...a grassy lawn = a blank canvas to plan a pond.  You always do such nice falls.  I've been missing your pics and tutorials.  Welcome back.

Very nice job, what do you use for lights...have you tried fiber optics at all.  I realize they would probably cost more than the job, but I' was curious if you used them on larger jobs.
