Prayer please
« on: October 25, 2007, 06:46:21 PM »
Most of you know the situation with my great-nephew.  Well court date is tomorrow, again.  Please pray that they leave him with his grandparents FOREVER, and quit streching this thing out any longer.  The parent's don't need him back (they would probably just hurt him again) (they don't deserve him, he's so precious).  He's happy, healthy and content with his grand-parents.  The lawyers said it will probably take most of the day tomorrow, I'll be glad to get a phone call.  Till then, Please........

.......Say a prayer, cross your fingers, legs, eye's, wish them luck anything and everything guys.

Having been a conservator of a really ugly situation I know what you are praying for.  I will ask a special prayer for your great-nephew.  Sounds like he needs his grandparents love and nurture.

Sitting here on pins and needles waiting for the phone to ring.  I called my parents but they weren't home, they're the ones that watch him during the day when my sister works.  The judges, and social workers don't want all the family there, our family listens.  Her family does not, they all showed up last time and it made the Judge etc, mad.  We don't want to do that, plus its no place for a baby to be.

I know that the courts want children to be with their biological parents if possible but as you said in this case this lil guy shouldn't be with them..
Hoping and praying things will go the way they should so this little one can grow up in a good environment.

Hugs,
Bonnie

I finally got ahold my parents and they said the judge hasn't made up her mind, but they don't have to go back to court.  The judge said she will make up her mind and call the social workers???

Good grief, still no word? It's like the doctors we were talking about on JBs. Sometimes the people in power just don't seem to realize we who are at their mercy, are just dangling there, a nervous wreck waiting.

No, still no positive decision.  Wish they would get on with it.
