Sunrise on Andy's Pond
« on: October 25, 2007, 06:41:18 AM »
Something about the way it looked this morning  caused me to breathe out a big sigh. I love the way it looks and I know that soon the weather is going to knock it all back so I am both happy and sad at the same time.
The weather was much cooler today, down in the low 50's last night (yeah I know stop complaining  {:-P;; ) so I know what is coming. Funny weeks ago I noticed things like the grass not growing as fast and the pond plants in the bottom of the pond dying back, I did not think I was actually that aware of my surroundings, funny how working outside on your pond or garden really changes your perspective on things.

Thanks Celia, I took these off the PondCam this morning. I was at work and decided to look in on my pond.  (took the photos remotely) :'( Man I really wish I could find a work at home job...LOL

Awww Andy that's really rough.... ;D  ;)

You caught a beautiful view of your lake, er, pond.  It's cool how you can watch it on remote.  Technology kicking in..... o(

Thanks for the awesome view.

Looks like Heaven!  Your lucky to be able to see it from work, just think of what you would be missing without your cam.  In person would be better, but it beats a blank.  Your photo's are stunning.

Kim

Ponds are like patato chips, ya just can't have one.

I put the cameras in mostly because I am a geek but it gives me a chance to view those lillies that bloom during the day and close up before I get home.  ::)

I like the bridge as well but it is not as stable as it once was. I may have to tear it out and start over. If I do I want to build a different bridge. like one of these

Lovely pictures Andy, soooo peaceful, and warm looking!  If I took one today at sunrise all you would see is the sun reflecting off the frost on the ground, 21*F this morning, what was blooming still is now trash :(!
