Hardy lily planters
« on: October 26, 2007, 07:34:16 PM »
I was at Walmart today and happened to spot BLACK plastic dishpans that I think will make great planters for hardy lilies.  They are made by Sterlite and only cost $1.56 each.  They are 12 quart size.   I bought a bunch because they may not have them in the spring when I will need them.
Just thought that someone else might be interested.   :)

Ruth glad to hear they have the BLACK ones again... I had to buy the red ones which are okay after the algae coats them but I prefer to start with black ones if possible! :)

Ooooo, maybe I'll have to go look for some, I know I'm going to have to redo mine, I used maybe 10" round pots and they are pretty tight in them.
