My fil has decided to move to a retirement apartment comlex (some of you may recall major, life threatening health problems he had during the past year.....you would never know it now!!!). My husband and I have been working on him to get out of his house so he has no cares as far as house upkeep goes. He was finally convinced and is moving to the coolest place. Anyway.....houses are not selling well here, especially with it being winter (Nebraska) so any who pray, please do so. It was listed Sun. He is supposed to move in the new place Apr. 1st so he really would like to be done with the house by then.

I would suggest that the realtor has an Open House ASAP... advertise, advertise, advertise.......

My guess is that it is in wonderful condition but maybe a little out of date, as far as the decor. So maybe a little paint or touch ups would help. Do you ever watch those shows where they improve a room or get a home ready for sale for just a little money. So maybe a little investment would bring about a sale more quickly.

I'm glad to hear he is doing so well. It's nice he is cooperating with the move too. So many folks his age fight it and make life miserable for everybody.

Wow!!!! A big thank you to those of you who prayed for this. My fil just called and his house is sold!!! This is unbelieveable for our city right now. It was listed on Sunday and his agent brought him an offer for the full price this morning.

Me too Kim. Our 2nd child, our son, was supposedly 'not possible'. When I called my dr. office saying I thought I should come in for a pregnancy test I was told, 'ok, but we're sure it's not a possibility'. Little did they know!! When it was positive and the dr. said he was shocked I said "I'm not. Things are not always in man's hands. Prayer can give you amazing results".
