Rebirth!

Temperature in the 20's today, ice on the pond, fish at the bottom, all is dormant.  But wait! what is that poking through the "bird" net and the ice, just past the end of the alligator's tail and a little to the right?




It's a BUD!!!  Either Texas Dawn or Joey Tomocik (Not sure which), In recognition and celebration of of the rebirth of American Ponders!



Way to go, guys!!!

wow.. someone forgot to tell that lilly it was suppose to be resting and frozen... :)

I see you have those horrid pine tree needles.. I have such a time k eeping them out of my pond.. they go right through my netting and right into my pump .
