I didn't think I would be able to see it because it had been raining earlier in the day and it was still quite cloudy outside but a good breeze came up and separated the clouds enough for me to see the total eclipse.  Soon thereafter though it clouded up again...

Lucky you!  Chatted with Debbie last night and she already saw the eclipse before it came our way.  Unfortunately the clouds never parted here.  Did not see anything but overcast and cold  :(
Guess I'll have to wait another 2 years or so to see another lunar eclipse.

I saw it just after full eclipse but the clouds blew over so I could not see the second half of the event.

Thanks for the heads up or I would not have seen it at all.

Cheers,
Sean

I saw it starting... and didn't know that it was supposed to occur or that it was going to be a full one... guess I should read the paper eh. Anyway, I was late to choir practice along with about 1/4 of our group because we were all standing outside watching it :) Really wish I could of been somewhere dark with my camera though.. would of been so awesome to capture it!

It was beautiful.  I looked at it through the binoculars.  Cold night here in Ontario but well worth the effort.  emm

Here's a pic I took from my deck, unfortunately I didn't have my tripod up there so I couldn't zoom in closer.  Then, we walked down the beach to the local and sat with our feet in the sand, a warm breeze and a cold beer and watched the rest of it.  Pretty nice.

We viewed it from my living room window and door mostly.  Until it was almost complete then we went outside to watch the rest.  It was freezing cold here, something like 12 and winds, burrr.  Still such a pretty site.

Yeah... it is a pretty cool montage. I like his framing of the layout better than some others I have seen as well.
