No one knows where the tall Genes came from, But Jake is the tallest player on the field.
He is number 80. They won.

Over here Jerry, if we are unsure where the genes come from, we just blame the milkman ;)

It's great that Jake is interested and doing well in a sport :)

Teresa  that is the high school field, but the kids are 12 year olds, so a few years to go.
They weigh them before each game, over 80 lbs. and you are out!  He will go to that High School.  The place will not be held in awe for him .  When I played I was really intimidated never having had big games experience.

He was MVP in this years baseball Series, but he never touched the ball yeaterday.
The team won, but no passes thrown to him.  Not complaining, the coache are superb and do what is best for all

I kinda figured he wasn't in high school yet . . . . but when I was a kid there weren't nearly as many youth sports opportunities as there are now.  The only football I ever watched was high school.  I guess I would like to go to any football games . . . . there's something special about watching kids play.  My girls won't have that experience because their school doesn't have football.

I agree Teresa, in fact I am a bit jealous.  We were lucky to have hand-me-down army clothes from older brothers and cousins.  The idea of uniforms and equipment makes me envious.
We were kicked off the tennis courts in Philadelphia because we did not wear whites!
Hard to belive huh?  If we were smart we could have sued the %$%^# city!
Times have changed.
