Rain, rain go away (who all is sick of rain?)
« on: April 03, 2008, 09:20:09 AM »
there are some ponders that want to go out and play.  :raining:

I'm so sick of rain.  Last year we were in a severe drought, like many others here.  Now, its just too much.

we have had lots of rain here in charlotte lately too but we are still in severe drought.  at this point, we can not possibly have enough rain.  i welcome it until we are out of the severe drought. i don't think that we will ever reach that point this year.  so even though i may be sick of it, i say bring it on and more too.

I'm with you Bonnie.  Were flooding here.  Just a couple weeks ago they put up some of the flood gates.  We either have none, or get it all at once.

After going through about five years of drought (which killed a few of our trees), I'm not sure I can ever get too much rain...even though we've had quite a bit lately.   :)

 8-)~ 8-)~ 8-)~
Our average annual rainfall is approx 18"...we haven't had any rain since the first of the year and very little snow...only 3/4" misture in the last 3 month.

Send all unwanted rain to the Texas panhandle.  All years are dry years here.

Sat, high 52 rain  (Thunder over Louisville Day) its never been rained out in its history, hmmmm.
Sun, high 47 rain

The temps are going in the wrong direction!   {nono}

I'm not sick of rain. We always need several good rains to clean the salt and sand off of the roads so we can ride our bikes.
Two so far, I think one more in the next day or so.
Then let it warm up

I still have a foot of ice in one of my ponds :( :(

Rain isn't so bad unless it is POURING.  It's the high winds & hail that bother me the most.  The worst weather seems to happen when I'm trying to sleep.

The rain is not bothering me at all either. 8)
High winds are brutal here too.

This morning we have a dense white blanket of fog.
When I took Jamie to school, you could see the oncoming cars headlights about 2 telephone poles away,
if that. Supposed to get into the 70s and sunny once this clears.
I am psyched! @O@

We're in for Thunderstorms in just about an hour.  That's the way its been here.  Very high winds, with the grounds being so saturated the trees are just up rooting.  People were in boats on some roads instead of cars. Its been a real mess around here.  Luckily we haven't been affected by it.

I am sick of the rain also, I am wanting to get this other pond started, and of course ready to go camping.
They are calling for severe Thunderstorms here this afternoon and then going to get back down in the low 40's this weekend and snow.
