If they are how can I get the lotus's out without hurting the eggs.

Tink,

Go ahead and divide.  I did not see anything that looked like frog eggs in your pics.  Assume there are frog eggs. do you ever eat hen's eggs?  If so, dumping frog eggs on the ground has no more effect on global ecology than eating hen's eggs.  Quit worrying about inconsequential stuff like frog's eggs and concentrate on stuff that is really important.  Frogs will be here long after humans are gone.  If you want some bullfrog eggs, email me.

BTW, your pics look more like Toad eggs.

Johns is there any other type of frog beside bullfrogs that have huge tadpoles that live as tadpoles thru the winter? I have tons of big tadpoles in several of my pools...I know toad eggs are laid, hatched and turn into toads in one season....so these can't be toads...and I've not seen any bullfrogs ....

tranquility ,

Bullfrog tadpoles take two years to become frogs.  During this time, they get quite large, sometimes several inches long and about an inch wide at the head.  Bullfrog eggs are quite a bit larger than other frogs. Toads lay their eggs in water and they are quite small compared to frog eggs.

I've seen (some) toad eggs and bullfrog eggs.  The toad eggs were black like strings of pearls in the clear jelly stuff.  The bullfrog eggs are bigger black pearls in big blobs of clear jelly.

I don't know what other kinds of eggs look like.  I would imagine different species have different color eggs. I dunno.
