I now come with my own 'house' I just bought the Passport 280BH today as our family trailer. We are so excited to be able to camp in a little ok a lot more comfort.  Of course, me being me bought the trailer before the horse to pull it.... Although it looks like I will be heading to the Coast in the next week and a bit to pick up a 2007 Silverado with 25,000 km on it. What fun we are going to have!

Congratulations Krista.  Don't feel bad....we bought our trailer a year ago and didn't have a truck to pull it either.  For the first few times we had to use my DH's work truck.  We bought a truck in the fall and only got to use it once to pull the trailer.  Enjoy your new toy....we just love RVing (that's what my DH likes to call it....RVing is about as rough as we get...LOL!!!)

Should you head south you are welcome to hitch your wagon out front of our house.  We are only 15-20 minutes from Disneyland.

What fun you will have!!  We've lived in our RV for almost 7 years now, since I retired.  It's been a blast although I'm now anxious to have a house and mainly a full size kitchen again.  There is something so wonderful about finding the perfect spot in the wilderness but still having your own bed and your own bathroom.  We named our RV 'Tortuga' which means Turtle, we carry our house with us wherever we go.

Krista I just did the search and found out that Keystone makes your trailer.  Ours is a Keystone Cougar and we couldn't be happier with ours!  Good luck with everything!  The layout looks really nice for your family.

And i would love to be a the next South West partay I still can't believe I wasn't able to meet up with anyone when I was down over Christmas. At least now I can come with my own bed and won't have to crash on Seans' patio... Sure he will be thrilled with that...

So we got the truck and we pick it up on the 26th and the trailer the following Saturday. I have concerts in Vancouver the weekend after so no camping but the following weekend we are good to go! yeah!

Congratulations on your ticket to adventure.  After puberty as a Boy Scout camping in a place called "Shades of Death" (because of rattlesnakes {True, I saw them often}) and the US Army bivouacs and 20 years working with BSA as an adult, (Den leader to District Chairman) and , I am, after all, married (45 years) to a beautiful lady whose idea of "Roughing it" is a Godiva chocolate on the pillow, RVing is out of the question.  Also, at my age, closing in on 70 (Excuse, me, Jerry),  morning stiffness keeps me from proposing such an adventure.

But for you young nubile examples of physical perfection, I applaud your camping experiences to come.
