MOrning all....
almost everytime I click to search for a plant I end up at Dave's Gardebweb. OF course most of what I want to know or see is in the "subsription" level. Do any of yall subscribe and if so is it a good site. I dont mind to pay if its usefull.

For me it's a pain in the butt. Everytime I look up a plant there it is.
Sure some good info. but i can do better elsewhere.
If anyone disagrees tell me where i am wrong. Glad to learn otherwise.

If you think that your question is dumb, imagine how totally stupid you will look if you don't ask it.

I just picked a calif. native and did a Google search. Dave's showed up second in the list. There were many pages of other sites with much more information than Dave's. All free.
No reason to pay for that which is easily accessible for free...

My two Internet sources of information on plants is Google and the GardenWeb.

I like Dave's Garden. I registered, but not at a "paid" level. While I agree that better info on specific plants can be found elsewhere, sometimes Dave's has more pictures to browse. It's a fun tool, but not the only one in the toolbox.

Hi All,
I have belonged To DAVESGARDEN, since it's inception. Yes, valuable information, and pretty good co-ops
I have purchased a vast collection of many plants, both garden and pond thru the efforts of the co-ops. So I guess, if only for that reason, it as been worth it so far for me
