Well to me they look like Tree Frogs. Hopefully I can get a picture of them this evening. Sounded like at least 4-5 of them singing out by the pond last night! Last year I got a good look at them, they are not afraid of the flashlight so I am going to try to get a flash photo tonight.
They are about the size of a Golf Ball, with the ball pad looking toes on their feet. The air bladder under their necks are as big as they are when they are croking-if that is what they are doing....kind of a really long pretty noise. Not like bull frogs or toads.
I have not seen the itty bitty frogs yet. I saw them once in a while last year usually after watering the lawn or after a rain shower. They are maybe the size of a Dime.
