Jenna Jane's gifts
« on: May 13, 2008, 08:36:05 AM »
My DIL's SIL had a baby after waiting for many years. She wanted something special for her so I set to embroidering and sewing. This is just a decorative pillow made out of flannel.

The baby's nursery is butterflies and flowers, hence the theme. Upper left is a waterproof changing pad and lower right is a burp cloth. The little pants is a diaper cover.

Those are wonderful, Esther!!!   @O@

Do you take orders for custom made gift sets?  Huh, Huh, Huh???  I have another great-grandchild due in September, but don't know yet if it's a boy or girl (She doesn't want to know...good for her!).  Anywho, if you do have time to make things to sell, I will be contacting you in Sept.   O0

Thanks everybody.

Sure I do stuff all the time to order. If people want a particular theme or design type, paired with text, is a typical  order. Everybody loves to see their name or their baby's name on something, especially if the name is unusual or has a different spelling. You never find ESTHER on anything in the stores.

Here's a website but there are no prices in there. Trouble is for online orders, shipping adds to the price so I haven't pushed much to sell online. But this stuff being fabrics, are light weight. At least you can see ideas of some of the things I have done. The burp cloths are actually prefolded cloth diapers. I don't usually sew much from scratch any more. Mostly I am remodeling my own clothes or making curtain or pillows.
