I was very busy last week.....

We opened up for business May 1st. and the people poured in .
 Still have plenty hanging basket's .  ;D

Pond plant's seem to in again this year. I already sold most of my tropical  waterlilies
and most of my hardies too .

I love this time of year  o(:-) .

I pre order plug's for all my hanging basket's otherwise I'd  have to start up the g'house in January.
They are very small when I get them & I  plant them into the basket's . Most everything else is started from seed .

It's raining this week , business is slow.... :( . Oh well , now I have more time to get other thing's done that I've put off.

The g'house is very close to my house ....probley about a stone's throw away .

Love it when business is brisk  O0 O0  Do you have an overview pic of your greenhouse on the inside?  Love to see how you set up the display ponds for your plants.  The baskets are very pretty.

The frist picture is of the lotus pond ( I cannot remember the size of this one , I'll have to measure it tomarrow )we built ( or I should say my cousin Mike built) March of this year . I got a good deal on a swimming pool liner , so we used it .

The second picture is of the lily pond  12'x4'x2'( 750 gal .I think ) . This is the only picture I can find of it . I thought I had taken a few picture's last week but I must not have .Taken before I cleaned it up as you can see.
Now it has some lily pads over it . It had a few small koi Mike gave me & they muched down on 8 of my tropical's w.lilies  >:(-  . I put them in last fall , they were only 1 1/2 " long , when I took them out yesterday they were 8" long . I gave them back to Mike told him I didn't want any lily muching koi in my lily pond ....  {nono} . He has several pond's he can put them in .

12x4x4 lily pond in g'house , tub full of Water Hyiacinth's & a few blue Pickerel in the smaller tub.

Awesome!  Wish I had that much room to set up a greenhouse.  Maybe one of these years we will move to a bigger property.  Thanks for the pictures.  Sorry to hear about the koi.  They do love to play with plants  ::)
