First blooms this season
« on: May 21, 2008, 08:19:37 AM »
Had my first two blooms of the season open yesterday.... Laydekeri Fulgens- it's first bloom ever for me... And a pink, which I think might be Pink Starlet...  Both were very small blooms... We had a hot spell that got the lilies all excited about blooming, and then it turned cooler which caused them to shy up some....  It is staying fairly warm though now, and things are starting to get going again....

Noticed this weird moth on the deck railing last week and snapped a photo of him- he looks so much like a dead leaf, he wasn't easily noticed... Nature is ever astounding me....
