I will be in town on June 1st for a big exam. Would you all like to get together for dinner that evening? I'll probably enjoy some time to relax the night before the exam.

Would you and Bonnie like to meet up at a nursery or restaurant? I'll be staying right by the airport. The hotel does have a shuttle service, so I can meet you nearby. Less than 2 weeks until the exam....YIKES!

Sure, sounds good. We'll have to get ahold of Bonnie. Hmmm, nursery or eating out. We'll figure something out. I'm going to go to the Koi Show here this weekend and meeting Luvmyasagi Sunday. This is so exciting, meeting people.

You don't need to ride the shuttle, just tell me when you'll be here and we'll pick ya up. I wouldn't mind at all.

I didn't realize Bonnie was so close to Louisville. Someday, no plans for sure yet. I am going to the Kentucky Derby. Happy that Bonnie will be in close range.

Good and Bad news Gals...

Just spoke with our realtor and he said they will be handing over the keys to us on either Saturday or SUNDAY!
So unfortunately I am not going to be able to make it.... I was so looking forward to seeing Kim again and meeting Jessica for the first time.

Good luck with your exam Jessica and the two of you have a grand time together. Be sure to get a few pix please!

I am fairly close to Louisville, usually 2 hr drive is all.

Takes 30-35 minutes to get to Cincy Airport and about the same to Turfway Park. http://www.turfway.com

We went home for memorial day weekend and I did not get to do as much studying as I had planned. I'm feeling a bit nervous today and am starting to think I should use the time Sunday to do some last minute preparing...

Distances between major cities and states are so much farther out here in the west. I just didn't realize I could see so many forum friends in one trip is what I meant when I said what I said.

I am going to drag DH to Kentucky someday. I want to go to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington again and to the Derby in Louisville. I wish to visit New Orleans again and go to Savannah as well.

We went back to KS. DH's best friend flew to FL, helped us pack, and then drove with us to TX and helped unpack before we flew him home back in Jan '07. We owed him big time, so we went this past weekend so DH could help him drywall an addition that he put on his house.

The test will be administered in a dingy hotel near the airport. Since the American Board od Radiology gives these oral exams once a year, they chose Louisville due to its central location. I will meet with 5 examiners, 30 minutes each, 5 questions each. Each of the 5 questions falls in 1 of 5 categories, and I can only miss one question per category. Since it's an oral exam, it could be rather subjective and hinge on my communication skills. Did I mention I'll be glad when it's over?!...and even happier if I manage to pass!!!
