Very cool!! Thanks for the link. O0
You would think that living in the high desert that we would have an excellent selection of succulents here but we don't at all.
The nurseries carry a couple of varities of sedums and hens & chicks and thats it.
Pretty much have to do mailorder if you want anything different.

One of my favorite succulent/cactus nurseries has a wonderful collection of succulents but when I visited there last week I was shocked at how much their prices had increased, easily 4 and 5x higher.  The only thing I can think of is that the drought here is causing many people to switch to drought tolerant plantings and these people are cashing in.  I need to find another succulent source.....  Any suggestions?

I normally like to shop plants in person.  Our Home Depot has a small but cool collection of succulents.  The selection changes with weekly shipments.  Very affordable mini pots and other sizes.

Go to Rodger's Garden see what you like then go to HD  {:-P;;

What Annette said.  Very nice!  I'm assuming you bring them inside during the winter?

Thanks everyone. The pond, yard and plantings are all still a work in progress. I don't think it'll ever be done......however, I am very pleased with the results so far. Will post more pics later in the season.

We've had a very cold spring and really need more sun and HEAT to get things going. I want more lily blooms!
