Another pic of CQ lotus, with my potting table/cabinet in the background.  Found this at a used furniture store for $10... It is metal and has an enamel top, so the weather doesn't hurt it.  Makes a great backsaver to divide and pot.  I keep my pots (dishpans) and fertilizer in the cabinet, and my plant tags, knife, pruners, etc in the drawer.

Attraction's first bloom of the season

And Hollandia's

Moondance

Perry's Baby Red

Laydekeri Fulgens- quickly becoming a top favorite of mine

Mexicana- got this from Kat earlier- it's first bloom for me.  I love it- it is very unique.

Oh, and I meant to point out earlier that I got my blue fish spitter from Lowe's too  :)  It was the last one they had, but it was $15 at my Lowe's  :-\  Had to have it anyway  :P

They all look fabulous!  I looked for the Blue Fish at our Lowe's...they didn't have any.  I was bummed.

The water lettuce looks good too. O0  Mine looks like chopped liver right now.  The Army Corp of Engineers introduced several kind of non-native insects that eat stuff like water lettuce and hyacinth years ago (I worked on some of the follow up research on the project when I was in college.)  While the water lettuce in the bayou appears completely unscathed, the water lettuce in my pond is all moth-eaten and raggedy.  How ironic is that  :P

Thank you!

Ruthie that lettuce you sent me has really taken off as you can see... And that is only about 1/2 of it in that pond... It has multiplied fast for me.  My hyacinths aren't faring as well, but that is my fault.  I put them in a tub with a good dose of Miracle Gro to green them up a bit and give them a good boost, but then forgot about them and left them in it for about a week, and they got kind of fried.  They got a good hosing off, and are starting to recover now...  ::)

Tinkster- I am from Ripley, which is just between Charleston and Parkersburg... Pretty close to the SE Ohio border  :)

Very nice pictures.  Your potting bench sounds perfect.  Hubby built me a wooden one and after three years, it had to be rebuilt.

Very nice.  I love Mexicana.  Your lotus tubs look like they are taking off very well.  My lotus boiled in the hot Arizona sun.  Next time, they'll go inside my pond.

Thank you everyone for all the nice compliments!  I will have to post some pics of my other ponds soon.  The circle pond is the most full and lush right now... too full actually.... Going to be digging yet another lily pond very soon!   {:-P;;

The mexicana bloom only lasted one day... not sure if that is typical of it or not.  It has another bud set to open today though...  O0
