water hyacinth for postage?
« on: June 17, 2008, 01:18:37 PM »
I am searching for anyone who is overrun with water hyacinth plants and willing to share them for postage. The closest pond store that carries them is 30+ miles away and it's difficult for me to find time and an excuse for the gas expense to get there. Even then, they are over $2 per plant which makes buying enough to make a difference in my pond difficult.

Look at Lorraine's post just a few posts below yours.  She has water hyacinth, hornwort, and water lettuce for sale.  Not sure if she still has any left but check with her.
