Several Hardy Waterlilies for Sale
« on: June 16, 2008, 07:13:50 AM »
*QUANTITIES ARE UPDATED*

I have the following hardy lilies available for sale.  I have a good trade/buy/sell reputation, and I am a stickler for truly named plants.  I document where each of my lilies come from so if you want to know where I got any lily before you buy, just ask and I will be happy to tell you.  All photos are my own, and taken from the parent plant of the division for sale.

I am going to start taking orders this week, with the first ship date being next Monday, June 23rd.  Plants range in size from small division to blooming.  I don't pay too much attention to size when I receive lilies, because they grow so fast anyway, but I know that some are concerned if they receive something small.  Here is a perspective on average size.... If you are expecting lilies comparable to those Kat ships, you may be somewhat disappointed with size.  If you are expecting lilies comparable to those you may have received from aquatic plant businesses, you may be delighted.  All divisions have been growing out in 4" pots for about a month or so in tubs.  First in line will receive the largest of each variety.  If I find anything ordered is in my opinion just too small, I will advise, and reduce the price accordingly.  I will try to note size of plants that I am aware of.  Here are some pics of lilies that I packed up yesterday to ship:

These are some of the larger to medium sized divisions I have.  Because of some growing out in washtubs, some lilies will not have as long stems as these.... These were in my clawfoot bathtub growing....  Shorter lilies will quickly grow to the surface in deeper water though.

Shipping will be priority mail, $6 for first lily, $1 each additional lily (may be less if several ordered- depends on how they fit into flat rate box- I will refund any significant overpayments on shipping).

Sorry to have such a lengthy description/disclaimer, but I like to be thorough  O0  On to the list!  :)

Blondieskatz- Yours have been pulled from this list and packed already :)

Kat- Yours have also been pulled already and are being held for you ready to ship once you get back home from your trip :)

ALSO, I have a few marginals I can add to orders upon request including floating heart, lizard's tail, purple iris, water lettuce, and common cattail... Any one division of these may be added to orders for $2 each (including shipping)

Hey Joey!  Are you also following Kat's bad habit of offering beautiful lilies to people like me who cannot have any more?!?!  :D ;D :'(  Your post is killing me but the wonderful photos of gorgeous lily blooms will have to tide me over until I make more room for a pond.  :P

You're killing me....  I have similar tubs with rope handles which suddenly appeared in my yard when I purchased lotus from Frank (Matherfish).  When DH noticed them he wasn't real happy to see my hobbie taking more of the yard  :o  But who enjoys the flowers and fishies too?

I must not push the button..... :P Heheh...

Do you pot up the divisions for sale or do you just float them? I'm curious because I'm finding myself with some extras too.

You mean what do I do with the divisions until I ship?  Well, I have them potted up, because I tried (unsuccessfully) to sell them locally before posting on the forum...  Plus some of them were small and needed to grow and establish.  However, if I had been planning on selling on the forum immediately upon dividing, I would have probably only kept the largest and floated them in tubs until shipping  :)
