Tonight I will apply enough snail bait to....

get rid of the raccoon family who are ransacking my garden and pools for food.   >:(- >:(- >:(-

They're in the bottom of my compost bin, shaded flower beds, and of course pools.  I'm guessing they are after the snails and slugs I have in plentiful supply.  >:(  My groups of small potted plants have been knocked over probably for snails that have been hanging on the sides.  And the nerve of those #%$#%@ raccoons to make themselves at home in my Adirondack chairs!?!?  They left muddy print trails all over the place.

I'm hoping they come back to ingest the gourmet powdered escargot bait in the garden!   {:-P;; ::)  Do you suppose I should set up romantic tea-lites for them?!?  :D ;D

Probably figured that since you were providing them with a sumptuous meal of fish and escargot they would just kick back and chill in your chairs as the meal settles.   :D

LOL Annette -
I am seeing more snails this year than I can ever remember - but thanfully the raccoon attacks are down. Mind you, my patio furniture is probably not as comfy as yours, so they have all headed south.

Cheers,

Mike

Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someone's neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing?

I feel your pain. They've been trashing all but my fish pond for weeks now. The fish pond has an electric fence.

I redid several container ponds over the weekend. Drained them and cleaned them and repotted plants. Potted up a bunch of cuttings and divisions. This morning they are all muddy and ruined. Pots all tipped over and plants thrown around. There are no frogs, tadpoles, snails or anything else in these containers for them to eat.
