Newbie question: Is it permitted to advertise for a local plant sale on here?

Hi:

I was directed to this forum, because I'm trying to determine what's the right price for some waterlilies I am going to sell.  I see that people do post plants for sale here, and I wonder if it's OK to advertise the sale I'm doing?  (I live in a big city, so I thought maybe some of the members live here too).

If it's not permitted, please don't be upset at me--I haven't DONE the advertising yet! 

Oh, and while I'm here, I may as well ask about lily prices: would $12 be a good price for a big hardy water lily (name unknown) that would probably be planted in a 12-inch or 18-inch pot?
