A couple of those have been around a while.  When I was a kid I used a grass clipper like the one that is the  2nd from the left.  It needed sharpening pretty bad and did a pretty good job of bending over the blades of grass at a 90 degree angle...... :D

I like your collection of "vintage" tools and books.  I guess my "old" tools are salvageable!  :P  I've kept my old tools that look very similar to some of yours for the day when I find time to make an arrangement for my yard.  I like how you worked your tools!

that basket is really sweet.  I never thought of putting china plates outdoors, mixed in with garden things.  Nice look!

I love old things.  I'm always collecting.  And I like to the competitions at the Texas State Fair for collections.  I've learned not to send breakables, after I lost my three vintage tea pots.  But I generally win in most categories I enter (I enter under my name, my sister's, and a girlfriends)... cigarette lighters, buttons, photos, cook books, cooking pamphlets, compacts, costume jewelry, you name it.

It's a blast to see something in the show case in the exhibition hall and think, "I have one just like that."  And then realize - that IS mine!!

Old saucers and plates can be used under flower pots to catch the water. You can also make a flower garden border by placing them in the ground standing up. ;)
