Good idea John.  I have only one outside padlock but after living here for some 30 years we had four house doors with locks (upper deadbolt and lower doorknob lock) and they were all keyed differently....  I finally took the time a couple of years ago to remove all the locks, replace those that were not compatible, and took them to a locksmith and had them all keyed the same....

How many out there have a location, perhaps in a drawer, where you keep all those miscellaneous keys of which you have long forgotten what they go to.  You don't want to throw them away because you figure they must fit something, somewhere...  lol
