Dragonflies are one of my most fav things about a pond. We've had lots of them this year.

So clear and detailed .
There's plenty of dragonfly's around here . I love watching them until I see a weed that need's pulling....

Such cool photos! That first shot the dragonfly almost looks metallic.
I must have had a new dragonfly grow up in my Koi pond under the netting I now keep over the pond. I saw it flying around inside before I let it out. Woud have kept it inside as a personal pet but I'm afraid that would not give it a chance to procreate with another.
