Skippy and Rubbermaid Totes...
« on: July 23, 2008, 05:09:58 PM »
Pardon my ignorance, but I came across these two terms above in some threads and was wondering what they are.  If someone can enlighten me I would appreciate it...a picture might be helpful too if you have one.  Thanks!   ?)(?

Tinkster,

Wow, thanks for the link...that's an awesome site.  Did you buy anything from them?  Has anyone else bought from them, and how was your experience with them?

I use sturdy Rubbermaid-type tubs for water gardens around the yard; those that have no filter or waterfalls, just water plants and a fish or two.

Gene at Koi Village is very helpful and knowledgeable. I and many others here have dealt with Gene over the years. He has a stainless steel spillway that is made to fit the Rubbermaid stock tanks. It comes with instructions how to install it.

As for the people at the Skippy site, I only talked to them once to get advice and they were helpful. That was many years ago. Skippy died several years back.
