A ficus that can eat your home.  Mikey advised me so we potted it. very handsome!

Sadly I did not advise Mikey of the same thing when I gave him N. Mexicana.
Today, I gave a potted up and fertilized Mexicana to a neighbour with a new pond - with an adviso to watch for it growing wld - he is a lawyer

Second pond in the neighbourhood, with a third neighbour down the road 'having wanted one' for ten years now

I hope our little desert community (Los Angeles ) will soon be filled with the hummers, birds, dragon flies, as much as my back garden is.
Now, the grafitti artistes, drug dealers, illegal immigrants, and car dumping savages need not apply.
