Very sad news... passing of Kevin Clark (Allied)
« on: August 11, 2008, 07:52:37 AM »
Kevin Clark (Allied) of Aquatic Pond Supplies of Crown Point,Indiana passed away on Saturday.
http://www.aquaticpondsupplies.com/

He was known as the Black Knight Brush guy to many of us and a former member of the old watergardening forum.

He was an awesome gentleman to talk to and one of the most honest to buy from.

He will be missed.

Thoughts and Prayers to his family.

He was young Joyce, and had a daughter who is in her early teen years.  I am thinking she is 13/14 now?
Kevin and his wife adopted her from overseas, China? when she was a baby.

I know he had health problems several years ago because he was talking about retiring, hadn't spoke with him about his health in the past couple of years because I assumed he was feeling much better.

I wish I could recall the name of a lady who used to post, I believe she posted on the old watergarden forum and was from around the Chicago area because she went to Kevin's several times in the past and I believe he helped her alot with her pond but my mind is completely blank!     Does anyone know if the old archives are around because I am sure she would like to know this if she already doesn't.

Truly sad news. I always looked forward to visiting Kevin at the MPKS trade shows.

Bonnie, I think you are referring to Lisa. "LisaChicagoBurbs" on the old forum, I think.

Kevin was a really great guy. We're going to miss him.

Certainly sad news. I remember the name but didn't know him.

Wonder what happened to Lisa. She and I were building our ponds at about the same time. She sure was full of questions. Seemed her pond was in the shade so she wasn't happy with how her pond turned out. Wonder if she kept it.

Esther, I was wondering the same thing. I looked around over at Koiphen and the last time she was posting was over a year ago.
