I would guess raven as well, No grackles here, but i have seen them on the lower colorad river
The bird is from Wal-Mart and was with their halloween junk. Mywife yelled when she spotted this raven-like bird at the pond. Looks very real !

It's kinda small for a Raven isn't it? Although I suppose Ravens start out small just like the rest of us.

The Wal-Mart skull was a "talking" one. I junked the electonics and used it for the pond. The other skulls that had were soft and flimsy.
