Come on in the water's fine !

It's been in the upper 70's here for the last 4 day's .
So I'd thought I'd hop into the pond with the shubbie's today for a nice swim.......
well actually the pump was too far out in the pond for me to reach it...  and it's not that deep on this end....

The water was really nice , no wonder they all wanted to be fed . When no food was forth comming
they started to nibble on my leg's & feet.

How nice  I would love more shubs....last year my only female was taken by the heron, this year we added 2 more little ones....not nearly as pretty as the 3 we lost.  Next spring I will take a close look and see if I can tell if either is a female, I have one very large male also yet.
