Met my first forum member yesterday!

Yesterday Brian and his Mom stopped by to pick up some lily bulbs.

We had such a nice visit.  My pond and flower gardens are not looking too great right now.  I had spent the day cutting back perennials around the pond and all of the waterlilies, etc., in the pond.  Hopefully he can come back next summer when everything is in bloom.

I was "plumb tuckered" last night.  Today my butt muscles hurt.  :o Think I am getting too old to do so much in one day, but it is so nice to look out and see it done!

Sure wish I could meet more members.  I need to talk some of those southern Indiana and Kentucky people to come up this way!

Always nice to meet other members. Think I have met around 15 to date, but LeeAnne is the leader in this field - she has met so many.

The other rule is that if another ponder comes to your home, that is when your garden and pond are just going to look their worst! Go figure.

It is great to meet them EagleEye stopped in here last month, I've also met with some members on another forum  always a good time as you have things of similar intrest to share so it's not like talking to a total stranger.

We had a great time visiting with Karen and Bob.  They have a gorgeous home, gardens and pond.  I wish I had grabbedd the phone out of the car and took some pictures of our visit to post.

So true.  My pond and garden have never looked so bad as when Kamala came over recently to pick up the turtles..... :redface:

Sounds like you had a very busy day.  I need my yard done too, how about coming and visting me.  I'm just across the bridge...lol.

It is really nice to meet members.  I've met 4 now.

I got to meet KY Kim and Cindy while at the Louisville Koi show last May and hope to meet more this year.
