Plays With Water....
« on: November 20, 2008, 12:45:44 PM »
Ernie is a little water baby cat!
If there is a source of water...he's in it!
Absolutely no fear, doesn't mind getting soaking wet.
He's a crazy little man but I love him so much!

Coming up to mom for XOXOXO....(soaking wet, dry me off mommy!) See the wet paw prints? And a wet scratch off!

Oh Joyce, that is adorable!  Ernie's face looks a lot like our Tita's, they have the M mark.  She likes water too but not to the extent that she gets under the faucet.  Mostly she likes to hang out next to the sink and try and catch the water when it is on.  When it is off, she goes to sleep behind the faucet with her head on the handle.  Kitteh's r gud.

Joyce,

That is so funny and so cool 8) I think Charlie would freak out if I put him near running water. If I hold him up to see the fish in the stock tank, with the dustpan waterfall running, he wants down, right now.

and Jonna, I just looked at Charlie, and he also has that very distinctive M.

Joyce and Jonna,

What adorable kitties, I got my Judson when she was two and she doesn't like water.  The closest she will get to it is looking at fish in tank, her drinking bowl and she sits on the counter at night by the sink.

She does love the dryer though (when it's off - that is).

Judson is a beautiful cat. If you look at the first picture, you will see that his face is that of a mountain lion.

Isn't that the coolest 8)  O0 8) O0 8) O0 8) O0

EagleEye,

Thanks!  Judson is a great cat (she is a she, lol).

The people that owned her before named her Judson after a College their daughter was attending.  Does sound like a boys name.  (We got her off of freecycle around Christmas time last year, she's such a joy!)

Ernie is adorable, with all of his many toes in the water!  o(:-)  Thumbalina loves water too and you have to RUN to get into the shower and shut the door before she gets in there...she is always on the sink when I am brushing my teeth or putting contacts in.  I leave the water drip when I'm in there just so she has something "alive" to play with!  Cats are so funny with water.  Oh BTW, is Plays with water his Native American name?  It certainly fits! ;)

Judson and Tita are beautiful too, and all my cats have the M mark on their heads, I thought all cats had them.  It's a CAT thing... lol

Esther,

What a cute cat you have there.  And so true, I have a glass window hanging that says "Pets are people too!"

Pets are often better than people.

Lots of cute shots here.

Cheers,

Thanks everyone!  :)

GREAT pet pix too!  @O@ :2thumbs:

Ernie is still being a water boy, and now we MUST to keep the potty lids down.  :o
(which is the way I was raised anyway, a potty lid left up is low class but hard to get *other* people trained to put the lid down ::) )
If the lids are left up now, Ernie gets in there and slaps the water around and leaves wet spotty kitty prints all over the seat.
Not to mention the floor being splattered with water all around the potty.

Right now he is having a cat nap in front of the roaring fire.  :)

Oh boy Joyce. That reminds me of something that must have happened in our back bathroom. I went in there and there were splatters all over the floor and toilet seat. Somebody must have tried to jump on the seat and it had been left up. Poor kitty!!

Esther, that happened to one of my cats, and oh boy, I almost died laughing.  She gave me a look that said "You did NOT see that!".  lol
