That turkey ad was on TV here.
Nancy, I hope you didn't eat Mr. Turkey. Oh well, I guess that is what they are for.
Jerry, that is a lovely table. She's been taught well.

Rick..... Nah dh skinned him first.
Jerry........ Isn't he pretty? Turkey get a bad rap they really are very pretty birds. When you see one in complete strut in the sunshine, they are beautiful. And yes they can fly.
Esther...... That's no ad that's my back yard last spring. Yeah it was spring with snow on the ground, but Mr. Turkey didn't care he was ready for the girls. Don't know if HE got eaten, but one them in that flock did.

Did you know that Ben Franklin (my idol) wanted the Turkey as a national symbol. Made sense too.
Ben and I were neighbors. Really.

That's just a little guy, not even worth mounting on the wall, but may taste better.

I think everyone may have a different opinion......going by Boone and Crockett measurement or width and hieght are improtant. Our family tends to let the small 6-8 point buck racks go, now if you can get an 8 point with a nice even wide rack ok. Go for 10 or bigger.

Yup, like Marla says, let him go this year.
I let two like that go by this year. For eating, I'd rather have a nice doe.
And then, maybe next year this guy may just be a shooter.
Hey Rick, you'll have to post a pic of that gator.
