By next Fall Jerry, you'll see why they named it that. The last place that my wife and I lived in had them growing by the back steps. I dug them up and put them in planters. By the following year, I had little babies growing everywhere including on top of concrete blocks. I brought a few with me but they might not have made it through this Winter.

What is the proper name of that? Think they ar e pretty. Have not seen them before. I am in CT Will they grow here? At least in summer.

It wasn't the dry here that got them, Jerry, but the freezing temperatures that we have had this year.
Mary, Mother-of-Thousands is the common name, I'm not sure what the scientific name is. They do have a beautiful bloom which is similar to that of the Soap Aloe.
