It is obvious to about anyone that has played with hybrids, that most seedlings are going to disappoint. While they may grow to be a normal, robust plant; to anyone with a discerning eye, the characteristics they display are inferior to the parent plants.
Once every so often, you do get a seedling that has decidedly better characteristics than the parents. This is one I've shown before, but it finally has decided to provide me with a viable tuber and there now exists more than one...so I'll show it again. And it is another of the mop-headed types as a bonus.<g>
It is sterile, but to me that is a good thing. No need to worry about those that don't understand basic plant genetics offering seed from it with the implication that you can expect the seedling to be nearly identical.
