If they were real and wanted to get noticed why don't they land on the Empire State Building or something like that. Why do they land we are these UFO fanatics live?
Thanks,
Rich

They land in rural areas where they are not likely to be detected, so they can do their experiments, on soil, air, animals, people, etc., without distruption.

Besides, many HAVE been detected by the government - don't you remember the cover-ups in the '50's and '60's and all the hush-hush work the govt. was doing on them?

Has anyone here read the two Communion books?  Those will convince you!

TLM: The theory that UFOs are time traveler humans from 1000s and 1000s of years in the future.
and in this future time, humans have colonized all over the universe.
They come back to study us, mostly. Sometimes they step in and help, or hinder, depending on the situation.
The alien appearance is actually their space/survival suit.  8)

In The Last Mimsy, they need fresh DNA because in the future humans are dying from a whole bunch of different reasons,
(mostly pollution and other 'human error' factors) so they send the DNA harvesting Mimsy robot stuffed animal back in time through a time traveling 'bridge'.
The 2 kids find the Mimsy and the gadgets with it, and learn how to use it because the Mimsy can communicate only with the little girl,
and the kids end up saving the future of mankind.
The DNA was in the little girls tear when she cried hugging the bunny, and one of her tears fell into the Mimsy's bellybutton.
The original story was written back in the 1940s.

Really was a good movie, just played on TV a couple nights ago.  O0

Anyway, I think UFOs are what they are, but all operated by extremely evolved humans/humanoids from the future.  O0

OK, I just rented it.

If you go to Netflix.com, you can see a clip of the preview.  I checked to make sure it wasn't one of those sci-fi films where they walk around in pajamas and pointy ears.  Instead, it looks like one of those Hallmark wholesome family films.  I can totally handle that, 'cause I'm still working my way through the Hallmark Channel's Christmas movies, and loving them.

From what I've read not all the witnesses have been wackos.  They've included seasoned military and commercial pilots.

And I'm not sure the locations were filled with wackos before they reported sightings.  Many of those people say they have been driven to distraction by the government total denials of what these folks believe they saw.

Is it mathematically / physically possible or impossible -- I don't know.

Is it all hokum -- I don't know.

Do I believe it -- I don't know.

Do I reject the whole idea -- nope.

Somehow I think it's vain to believe in alien life, other times I think it's vain not to. I've never seen a UFO, and I've never seen an alien. So, to believe it exists takes faith...

I would like to see something, but most of the stuff I've seen looks altered (like photoshopped pictures, etc). I know for a fact that our military has done all kinds of tests in secret- not because they wanted to but because they had to.

We used to love that X-Files stuff. We rented the last movie the other day and we're having a hard time getting through it. It's really bad.

Will rent The Last Mimzy next. O0

I tend to not believe in UFO's, but then again I don't rule the idea out totally because I don't want to be that closeminded.

I do remember growing up in the 60's we spent a lot of time laying on a blanket out in the yard at night watching for UFOs.  When I was in the fourth grade one of my classmates took a picture of something and it ended up on the front page of our local picture and being picked up by the associated press!  That's probably why we spent so much time watching the sky.

The topic does make for a lot of interesting movies and tv shows.  "Signs" was one of my favorites.  We watched The Last Mimsy on tv recently and it was very entertaining.

I don't believe in them because it's never been proved to me they are real .

I did see the movie Joyce is talking about ...The Last Mimsy....it was cute and the one with Mel Gibson in it
called Sign's ...I think that's what it's called anyway... ;D

There was "crop circles" In West Union OH. a few year's ago....Just 20 minute's away from here....in a framer's corn
field . All kind's of people came from the city too see it . The next year the "crop circle's " appeared in his bean field but this time they  found a foot print the size of a woman's inside the circle . Someone was very busy that night making it.
