I haven't had a chance to check my plants outside but have notice the gosh darned weeds popping up here and there.  Did your plants survive the frost and winds?  Total lost on an old patio canopy during the rain and winds.  Torn and shredded at the seams and the frame is now rusted to dust.

Past few nights were very cold.  Under many blankets and sleeping comfortably.  8)  Look forward to a few days of warmth.

Horrid wind storm. Lost power 3:00 AM Sunday morning and didn't get it back until Monday afternoon 3:00 or so. No phone, internet, or cable either of course. Got a little chilly in the house as it got to 50. Slept part of Sunday night in front of the fireplace in the living room. Put a sheet over the doorway and covered the windows to try to keep out the cold. About went nuts with TV/computer withdrawal until I found a radio operated radio and a talk radio station.

So, here in Sierra Vista, Arizona, on New Year's Day, the temperature reached 73.4 degrees at 3:00 PM.  I took this photo shortly after returning from spinning around the San Pedro Valley in my 1990 red, BMW 325i convertible.
