Went to my daughter's Christmas Choir presentation. They always drag out the traditionals... O Holy Night... Carol of the Bells...

Sean, I hope you and Marc can get to wherever you need to go today. We can't. :'( I used to think having to go to family was a pain sometimes, now I realize how important it is after all those years of having to work on holidays.

I hope everyone had a warm and happy Christmas/Holiday.

With the crazy weather my DH almost didn't make it home in time. He was flying back from Hong Kong via Vancouver on the 22th and his plane to L.A. was canceled because of the freeze. Air Canada said because of all the cancellations and the weather he would not be able to get back to L.A. until the 28th!! OH NO!! But he managed to get on a plane to L.A. about 10 hours later! Thank goodness his work's travel agent is efficient and his company let's him travel business. He got the last seat leaving Vancouver to L.A!

Almost had to call Sean to put up a haggard stranger for Christmas!

He would have hated staying here Annette, we had no hot water 3 days this last week and we are hot water heated also... I went to work 3 different days without a shower in the morning, Yuk!!!

We sure have had odd weather this winter, usually the snow doesn't stick, this year we have had almost 4 feet in one week and we have almost or have, I am not sure, surpassed an all time snowfall record, We are back to rain and above freezing temps but the rain combined with snow melt is causing flooding and it will also cause turbidity in our drinking water, time to start buying water again for a few weeks and boiling what we do have come out of the tap.

Well Sean, DH was very fortunate to get home for Christmas. The snowy weather in Vancouver isn't very often I'm guessing. DH said the people at the airport weren't very skilled at de-icing the planes which resulted in delays and plane crews could hang around beyond their work hours. This caused cancellations and very angry passengers.

Sorry PondmaninFL, nice you took latin, I know how to pronaunce(sorry don't know how to spell it) some things but don't know a lot of words.
Anyhoo miguynmkoi, nice you got your DH for xmas, that was so nice of his company, a very nice xmas gift.
BTW isn't it 22nd instead of 22th? I just wanna know since I am losing lots of words because I am not living in the US anymore and I use spanish daily or is it fine to use either one?
