Bill's New Truck!
«

It's a brand new 2008 Honda Ridgeline, LOADED. He got 1/3 off the sticker price, and 500 over book value on his trade in.
When he told the insurance company which model it was, found out will be $71 cheaper per month for insurance because of it's highest safety rating.
So his monthly payment ends up being cheaper than the one he had on his old truck.
When he first came home, he came up the stairs and handed me the keys.
We took it for a slow ride (me driving) around town in the snow...it's AWESOME and has soooo many features and gadgets!

Jim, I was just thinking the same thing. If it has wheels and/or wires, a guy is happy.
Joyce I like your new picture.

DH just got a phone call from the guy who is finishing up his truck. This is a 62 Ford Unibody. Pete has been working on it for 13 years. Because it is so rare, the repair guy had a terrible time finding the parts he needed and finishing what what Pete couldn't do. He finally has it near the end. Says it purrs like a kitten now and it won't be long and we can pay the final bill and get it back. I'll post pix when that happens.

Bill looks very happy with his new truck! Too bad its all covered in snow and grime, but it will really look good this spring when the weather is nicer!

Bill has also got great taste!!!! I've had mine for 16 months, since Labor Day 07, 55,000 miles and what a great vehicle.... I use it for work, which entails lots of power company transmission right-of-ways, freeways, back country roads and bad weather.... It is so comfortable to drive, as compared to all the F150s, 250s, and Rangers my company has supplied over the years...
Congrats... I'm sure he's loving the all wheel drive in the snow..... They really do well in it....
PS... There is a Ridgeline Owners Club forum that has lots of info and mods... Although it looks like you got the RL with ALL the BELLS and WHISTLES!!!!!!

Two happy men and their trucks. Awww.
Our neighborhood has looked like Joyce and Bill's for two weeks but it is all rained out at the moment.
Dave, I think that is the first we've seen you! You must come to the next PNW pond gathering.

Yeah, he loves it and it is loaded, we keep on learning little things every day.
And he fit it into his side of the garage the next day, finally got it cleaned out and organized.
Finn, thanks for the feedback, links, and great photo of a good looking guy...and truck!

Bob would kill for a two car garage. Our tiny one car is full of his workshop and not even my Corolla would fit inside.
