Where can I find the giant thick type of Elodea?
« on: April 24, 2009, 08:47:23 AM »
Once I saw a bunch of this giant thick looking rope like Elodea in a pond and I wonder where I could find some for my pond. Anybody got any ideas. Thanks.

Nope but I can send you some anacharis when I send your azolla. It works wonders for keeping the pond clear. The only time I've had a green algae bloom in twelve years was when I ripped it almost all out in the fall.

Oh LeeAnne that would be great! That's exactly what I want it for to keep the pond clear and provide oxygen. I can hardly wait to get these plants but our weather has been ghastly lately. I'm sure we must be going to get some good weather sometime soon. Let me know when you have enough and are ready to send. I have paypal all set up to use but I may need some pointers from you on what exactly to do. Thanks, Janice

No problem. We had some nice weather and then today is cold and nasty. I hope tomorrow is better. I still have blooming daffodils to plant.
