Anyone used a Topsy Turvey?
« on: May 04, 2009, 11:08:34 PM »
We try to do one new thing each year with regards to gardening. Some years it's a veggie we haven't grown or haven't grown for years, some years it's a new type of flower or veggie bed, etc. This year we are thinking or trying one of these but if they're a waste we would rather use our time and money elsewhere.

Isn't this like growing a plant upsides down in a hanging pot?  I just saw one at a garden show here and can't think of how well it would do here.  Interesting though.

Don't waste your time or money. They work but not great, less than spectacular harvest. Our friends did one and won't do it again. It's a novelty. They grew tomatoes in it and were disappointed in the results

I have to admit that I thought they were cool
but the harvest was not what they expected
If you aren't looking for a huge harvest then they probably will be fine

Well thanks for saving me the time and money. I'll find something else new to try this year.
