i saw a plant growing in the ditch that is a waterplant with a white flower .its not an arrowhead any ideas

Leaf shape? Height?
I found a grass-like plant, maybe 6"-8" tall, with tiny white flowers, growing in a wet area alongside a hike/bike trail in a park here. Never had any luck getting it to grow in my bog.

I have seen Star Grass growing wild in MS, maybe that is what you have:
