Some butterfly offspring will have short fins. That's a throw back. They are lovely fish - and nothin' is wrong with that.
If its a "true" ogon, the color should go all the way to the end of the fins.
That's a GOOD thing. The head should be a single color, without clouding.
Some slight matsuba is allowed - the edges of the scales may be slightly darker, producing a netted appearance.
