I'm here, been overloaded with projects. First, converted my carport into a garage. I did all the framing, and siding, etc by myself, while wife went to Ireland with her sister and neice. Only thing I had done was the garage door installation. Here are completed views:
The "Windows" are actually sliding patio doors I picked up at a salvage company. They are double glass and extremely heavy, so had to engineer way to install, and also create a track for them. Next project was fixing a leak in my "concrete koi pond" which has been leak free for 16 years, but finally developed a crack. Had to move all the fish and rocks, drain the pond, drop in an EDPM liner, refill, move fish back in, etc. All is back like before.
Next project was to remove all the wooden stockade fence around the "Secret Garden" (7 8' sections, 60 running feet) and replace with new better quality sections stained dark green. Of course, being a fence around a garden with a fish pond, there were all sorts of "through the fence: plumbing, etc. to take care of.
Finally, there is the planting of the vegetable garden, moving all the plants out of the Hoophouse, and planting the tropical plants in their respective summer homes, not to mention, all the weeds that need to be taken care of.
I still have to install the ceiling insulation above the new garage, get ready for a much needed spring attic sale, and plan a "Jimmy Buffet" party.
And, Oh, yeah, My 400' hedge needs trimming again!
