Photo tour of Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden

This is a city park here in Portland, on Mother's Day they have a big sale in the parking lot. Rhododendron Society members and Master Gardeners are there to answer questions. It is a pretty big park and it was a nice day.

What a lovely place to have so near to where you live. I'd love to walk through there everyday. All the ducks and geese w/ their little ones are so cute. Seattle has a very nice Arboretum but it's 50 miles from where I live. We used to swim and jump off the freeway bridge to no-where back in our hippie days there

I am learning there are so many beautiful gardens in Oregon, Portland mainly, from all your photo trips they're all amazing.  Love rhodos variety of colors.  This gardens pond is beautiful and the waterfall is fabulous.

It's been a long time since I've seen baby goslings from Canadian geese, so cute!  Thanks for the photos of your visit.

Nice photos LeeAnne. The Rhodo's sure do love our climate. That reminds me that I want to get back to Darts Hill garden here again this year. The open house is on the 30.

Yes, the do. More people have problems with them getting too big than not performing. It is a nice park even when they aren't blooming but we forget to go to it.

Portland does have a lot of public gardens.
