These are from the Japanese Gardens and Reflecting Pond at Herman Park here in Houston.  I hope you enjoy.

Inside the zoo, they used to have a reflecting pool with water lilies - and the most deformed awful goldfish. :)

Lovely pics and what kind of camera did you buy? I'm planning on getting one at Christmas time when they are hopefully on sale. Don't want a complicated one .........just a point and shoot digital  :)

Yes, I've been there.  I remember thinking how nice the pond could be.  It's a zoo after all, you'd think they would take better care of the inhabitants.

I got a complicated one.   :D  I bet you'll find a good deal this coming Xmas though.  With the economy the way it is.  And there are already some great prices in the "point and shoot" category.
