Need Some Lilies or Something To Cover My Pond
« on: July 16, 2009, 10:17:43 AM »
I am in need of some plants!  I have one lily, some water lettuce, water hyacinth, sensitive vine and parrots feather, but they're just not multiplying or doing very good at all!  I have this algae type stuff that appears during the day when the sun is out!  I use the net and get it out, but I think my pond is just getting too much sunlight and needs some cover!

If someone has some ideas or some plants, please reply with info!

Thanks so much and have a great day!

I have an unnamed yellow hardy that produces a lot of leaves that I would be willing to send you.  I wouldn't be able to send it until Monday though, I can't get into my pond to get it out until then.

That would be great, Holldoll!  How much are you asking?

Thank you,

Karla

I have a ton of azolla and duckweed mixed. $6 is what I charge for 3 cups which is what I can fit in the small flat rate box. They are tiny but they cover a pond fast unless you have hungry fish that will eat them?

I think hungry fish might be part of the problem with what I have! lol
