Agave's I got smart at last. But NOT smart enough!

I am converting areas of my garden to drought tolerant plants, primarily Agaves.
On Craig's List they are for sale often. $20.00 usually.  They produce pups my the dozens.
So I posted a "Wanted" ad on Craig's.

BINGO ! Off to dig in Monterey Park this Sunday.  This area is now heavily Chinese and loaded with excellent dinning places.  SO the elusive Mrs will come along.

Be sure to post pics..  I love looking at your cactus gardens.  I'm determined to get some in my landscape  o(:-)

Jerry get enough to share if it's freeeee!!!!  I'm starting a drought tolerant garden of succulents and cactus on the small side of the driveway.  Agaves a expensive but beautiful.  Will need to help others trim theirs when I take walks through the desert gardens  {:-P;;

Monterey Park?!  Definitely good eats.  Just a note though,  B and C rated restaurants serve better food than the A's and definitely lower in price.  :D

I got my Tequilas for free form a Mexican woman who I gave a N. mexicana to in trade. Problem is, now it is recovering from being crushed by a 3" thick by 9" long piece of a oak tree limb. It's gotten me twice while repotting them.

The lady was very nice.  I had posted 2 photos on the Craig's List wanted ad.
Neither were close to Agave atunatta.  I dumped most of those ages ago.  That is what she had :'(
A wild goose chase >:(-
It was too early for lunch, so we went home via Pasadena and shopped
and had lunch (Tortilla Soup & Corn bread) at said market.. Very good!
