YES and I have tried rectifying it. I did once. With our water problems I can't have the pond overflowing.
It has been at least 6 months

let me tell you my experience on savio products.they aren't worth a crap....i ended up with 3 now 3 biofiolters w/uv that didn't work,they kept sending me replacements and none of them worked,i paid alot for that biofilter..never will purchase another savio product...
